Does Forza Horizon 6 Support VR Gaming?

پست توسط Rliggjfapo »

If you’re hoping to jump into the world of Forza Horizon 6 in VR, there’s some news you should know upfront: the game does not support virtual reality. Playground Games, the studio behind the series, has confirmed there are currently no plans to bring VR to this entry.

Even though Forza Horizon 6 offers a stunning open-world recreation of Japan and detailed first-person cockpit views, it follows the tradition of previous Forza Horizon games that were built for traditional screens rather than VR headsets.

Key Details About Forza Horizon 6 and VR
Official Word: Playground Games representatives mentioned on the Steam Community forums that VR support is not on the roadmap.
Immersion Without VR: The game still offers immersive features like a Car Proximity Radar for better awareness in cockpit view and realistic steering animations with full 540-degree rotation.
Release Info: Forza Horizon 6 launches May 19, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a PlayStation 5 version coming later in the year.
Platform Context: Currently, Xbox consoles don’t support VR headsets. While Microsoft Flight Simulator has VR on PC, this hasn’t been extended to the Forza series.
Alternatives for VR Racing Fans

If you’re chasing that fully immersive VR racing experience, you’ll need to look elsewhere. Popular options include:

Gran Turismo 7 – works with PlayStation VR2.
Assetto Corsa – a PC-based sim known for realism and VR support.
iRacing – competitive online racing with strong VR functionality on PC.

While Forza Horizon 6 isn’t VR-compatible, it still promises one of the most beautiful, high-speed racing experiences yet—just through your monitor or TV instead of a headset.
