2015 Dodge Charger AC not blowing hard – blower motor or something else?

پست توسط benedictgarside »

I've got a 2015 Dodge Charger and the AC works cold, but the airflow from the vents is really weak, especially on the passenger side. On the highest fan setting, it feels like medium at best. I've already replaced the cabin air filter, which was dirty, but it didn't help much. I can hear the blower motor spinning and it sounds normal, no weird noises. I'm wondering if it could be a clogged evaporator core, or maybe the blower motor resistor is failing, or even a stuck blend door that's blocking airflow. I've been searching online and decided to view detailsp on a few forums, and it seems like these Dodges can have issues with the HVAC housing cracking or foam seals deteriorating. I'm trying to find a shop in Sharjah that knows these Dodge Charger AC systems well. Has anyone here had weak airflow on their Charger or Challenger? What ended up fixing it? I'd rather not take it to the dealer because I know they'll charge me an arm and a leg just to diagnose. If you know a good AC specialist in Sharjah for Dodge or Chrysler, please share. The car has 110k kilometers on it and otherwise runs great, but this weak AC is miserable in the summer heat. Thanks for any advice.
